Usually, it seems the people talking about an impending attack upon Iran are the same who reported that a fleet for 40+ ships was steaming down to Costa Rica last month. Or, the same group who said nearly 20 US warships transited the Suez, to include two CBGs.

Hysteria, and a prolonged high state of readiness leads to paranoia. One's words regarding the impending attack loose their luster and earnestness. But, mostly, you start making mistakes. We should continue to apply pressure on Iran in this regard.

It's really hard to sort through the noise and rumor and information operations concerning the subject. I don't think I'll ever really understand it until the history has been written thirty years from now.
